Mr. T Cut from A-Team

The famous A-Team actor, Mr. T, will not star in the movie remake of the popular TV series.

According to Latino Review, Mr. T has refused to make a cameo appearance in the movie remake of The A-Team show, in which he starred as the memorable B.A. Baracus.

The actor reports that it’s not a question of money, rather, he simply has no interest in being part of the movie if he is not starring as B.A. Baracus.

Mr. T apparently has nothing against the remake of the hit series, but he doesn’t want to be associated with it.  The role of B.A. Baracus will be played by Quinton Jackson.

Rumours were circulating that remaining members of the original series would also be making guest appearances. On that list are Dwight Schultz, who was Captain ‘"Howling Mad" Murdock, to be played in the movie by Sharlto Copley, and Dirk Benedict, who starred as Lieutenant Templeton "Faceman" Peck, now to be played by Bradley Cooper. The role of Colonel John "Hannibal" Smith will be played by no other than Liam Neeson. In the original series, he was played by George Peppard, who died in 1994.

The A-Team will hit theatres on June 11, 2010.
