MTV Asia Awards Help Victims of Tsunami

The MTV Asia Awards will be presented live from Bangkok and Thailand on February 3.

The M.C. for the evening will be Amercian singer Christina Aguilera, who won the Female Artist  of 2004 award.  The ceremony, which normally highlights the greatest hits of the preceding months in Asia, will be reoriented in order to help the people affected by the catastrophy in Asia.

For this reason, MTV producers decided that this popular and well known event, would be an excellent opportunity to help the victims of the Tsunami disaster.

Maroon 5 and Japanese Namie Amuro have already accepted being featured guests.
