Vogue reports that leather goods king Louis Vuitton has once again called on Japanese designer Takashi Murakami to create a women’s collection.
This is the first time the luxury house has asked him to create a complete line that includes leather goods, accessories as well as ready-to-wear.
This new collection, called Cosmic Blossom, offers beach bags, sandals and sunglasses that bear Murakami’s signature and colourful artwork.
The new women’s line comes in three summery colours.
The ad campaign was shot in Miami, Florida and features Daisy Lowe. She says, "Louis Vuitton is an amazingly well made, classic, chic and beautiful brand…I have been a huge fan of Takashi Murakami work for a long time, his work with Louis Vuitton is so playful and exciting."
Cosmic Blossom by Louis Vuitton in collaboration with Takashi Murakami will be available in Louis Vuitton boutiques on April 15 in limited edition.
