The co-writer of Hotel Rwanda, Keir Pearson, has written an adaptation of the story of Gail Johnson, a white South African woman who adopted a black child with AIDS and then traveled the world to tell his story and explain the dangers of contracting the virus.
Jim Wooten wrote the 2004 book that is being used for the basis of the film.
