Michael Mann wrote the screenplay, and will direct and produce the film.
Jamie Foxx and Colin Farrell will play the roles of detectives Ricardo Tubbs and Sonny Crockett. Harris will play Gina Calabrese, the love interest for Tubbs.
In the film, the two detectives face a transnational crime organization, and Crockett falls for the wife of the mob boss, played by Gong Li.
Naomie Harris is currently working on Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest and has recently finished her work on Michael Winterbottom’s film A Cock and Bull Story.
