The singer spent last week in a New York hospital following a relapse in her battle against hepatitis C, reports Starpulse.com.
The soul singer was diagnosed with the disease in the beginning of the summer, and since then has been undergoing regular treatment. Cole also revealed that she had to shave her head when chemotherapy made her lose her hair. She said, "I do chemo every week… and we are going to go for it and cut off all my hair."
The singer added, "The timing of all this couldn’t be worse because of my (new) record coming out. What you do is rally and you have a great group of people rally around you."
