Martin Kelly, who was married to Natascha McElhone for the past ten years, was found dead at his London home on Tuesday (May 20).
A friend of the family discovered the body at the front doorstep of the couple’s home. An ambulance transported Kelly to the hospital, where he worked as a cosmetic surgeon.
According to Scotland Yard, the exact cause of death has not yet been determined, and an autopsy will be performed.
McElhone, 36, was in Los Angeles when the incident happened. The actress is pregnant with the couple’s third child. She has since returned home to England to be with her two sons, Theodore and Otis.
McElhone’s stepfather said, "It’s still a mystery. It’s so unexpected. Such a fit, handsome, fighting fit young man of 42."
