Natasha Richardson Dies from Head Injuries

Natasha Richardson has passed away.

The actress, who was the daughter of actress Vanessa Redgrave and the wife of actor Liam Neeson for 14 years, died at the age of 45 following a ski accident, reports UsMagazine.  Richardson’s death was announced yesterday (March 18) at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York.

A representative for Neeson explained, "Liam Neeson, his sons, and the entire family are shocked and devastated by the tragic death of their beloved Natasha. They are profoundly grateful for the support, love and prayers of everyone, and ask for privacy during this very difficult time.”

Richardson fell during a ski lesson Monday (March 16) at the Mont-Tremblant resort in Quebec.  The British actress was not wearing a helmet, but seemed to be fine after the fall.  She began having migraine headaches an hour later.
