Rapper 50 Cent will be releasing a new album, likely titled Black Magic, within the next few months, reports MTV News.
At the Sundance Film Festival this past weekend, 50 Cent told MTV that his new album is about 80 percent complete. The album will feature Lil’ Kim, Busta Rhymes, Akon, and Swizz Beatz, and on one track, he reunites with Eminem for a duet
"I’m not sure if I’ll make a full mixtape [beforehand]," explained the rapper. "That’s what I was doing when I was making collaborations with new artists: I was working with artists that wouldn’t exactly be my equal because they don’t have a successful track record.
"But at some point you have to make the decision to just be an artist and work because you enjoy the music and you think it’s a good idea, as opposed to it being someone of your calibre.”
His fifth studio album Black Magic follows Before I Self Destruct, which debuted in 2009 at number five on the Billboard 200 chart.
