The singer hopes to be able to launch the album Acquitted in May, and revealed that he worked on it with the King of Pop, Michael Jackson.
Akon would like the first single released to feature Jackson. He believes that Jackson is the only person that could have collaborated on an album of this calibre. The singer states that this is an international album.
There was so much material produced that Akon is already planning a fourth album which will be entitled, Double Jeopardy. Akon will be touring later this year with rapper T-Pain, and the rest of the band members of Konvict Muzik.
Akon participated in the remake of Jackson’s Thriller album, which commemorated the 25th anniversary of the launch of this hit record.
