New Album by Boston

The group Boston will finish recording their next studio album before the year’s end.

Lead singer of the group Boston, Tom Scholz, revealed to Billboard.com that he hopes to finish recording the group’s new studio album after their summer tour. He hopes to launch right after New Year’s Day 2009.

Scholz explained that the group’s new album, which will be the first since the launch of Corporate America in 2002, will offer a mix of pure and simple rock’n’roll, as well as a more esoteric sound.

The new masterpiece will feature remakes of some of the songs from Corporate America. Those tracks will be remixed, rearranged, and in some cases, completely re-recorded by Scholz.

Scholz indicated that Corporate America earned very low sales, and that is why he is going to give those songs a second chance. He stated, "’Corporate America’ was a really poor seller. Very few people have heard it. I’d like to give some of these songs another chance to be heard."
