New Album By Jason Collett

Jason Collett is launching a new solo album, Here’s to Being Here.

Collett, a member of the group Broken Social Scene, is doing the promotion for his debut solo album. Many of his friends collaborated in the production of this album.

The album, Here’s to Being Here, was recorded in Toronto with producer Howie Beck. Many artists participated int he recording, including Andrew Whiteman, from the group Apostle of Hustle, Liam O’Neil of the Stills and jazz musician Tony Scherr.

Here’s to Being Here will be on the shelves on February 5 thanks to Arts & Crafts. In addition to the regular tour dates, Collett is adding three concerts at the Dakota Tavern in Toronto. They will be the first three Thursdays in December. Dakota will do old and new songs and will have special guests at these shows.
