According to Billboard, Abdul will be launching a new album entitled Head Over Heels, her first disc since 1995.
After collaborating on Randy Jackson’s album, Abdul decided to put together an album of her own by doing remixes of old material, as well as new tracks.
Jackson, who works with Abdul on American Idol, made the singer realize how much she missed her singing career. Abdul used to be signed with Virgin Records, but does not have a record label at this time. She would like this album to be released before Christmas.
