FemaleFirst reported that former astronaut Buzz Aldrin would like Witherspoon to play his wife in the movie based on his true story.
Aldrin is the second man to have walked on the moon. He was part of the Apollo 11 mission with Neil Armstrong and Mike Collins in 1969. He is presently in negotiations to do a movie about his famous trip to space.
Aldrin mentioned that his wife really liked Witherspoon in the movie Walk the Line, where the actress played Johnny Cash’s wife, June Carter. Witherspoon won an Oscar for her role in the film.
Witherspoon can be seen on November 26, opposite Vince Vaughn, in the movie Four Christmases.
