New cast members for The Dark Knight Rises

Director Christopher Nolan hires more actors for final chapter of Batman trilogy.

Recently, a stark black and white photograph of actor Tom Hardy wearing the mask of the villain Bane, was issued as a teaser promo from the film production The Dark Knight Rises.

Now director Christopher Nolan (Memento, Insomnia, Inception), has just announced two more additions to the cast for his third and final installment of the Batman film series.

Brett Cullen (Lost, Ghost Rider) and Chris Ellis (My Cousin Vinny, Armageddon), who both starred in Apollo 13 in 1995, will play a judge and a priest respectively, reports Variety.

They join a star-studded cast that includes Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman and Gary Oldman.

Matthew Modine, Tom Conti, Joey King, Daniel Sunjata, Diego Klattenhoff and Burn Gorman are also set to star in the film.

Shooting will take place in the United States, India, England and Scotland, with the release slated for July 20, 2012.

Brett Cullen stars alongside Selena Gomez and Leighton Meester in Monte Carlo on July 1. Chris Ellis continues to star on a variety of television shows in recent years, particularly Law & Order: LA and CSI.
