The luxury fashion house has appointed MacGibbon, 38, as their chief designer, to replace Andersson who has worked in that position since 2006.
MacGibbon worked from 2001 to 2006 as the right hand for Phoebe Philo, the chief artistic director. She also collaborated with the Italian designer Valentino. Other designers that have worked as chief designers at Chloé include Karl Lagerfeld, Martine Sitbon and Stella McCartney.
