New Foo Fighters album

The Foo Fighters will start recording a new album this fall.

According to BBC 6 Music, Foo Fighters’ frontman Dave Grohl announced the end of his group’s short hiatus. He revealed that the group will start recording their seventh album in the fall.

Grohl has also been working on new material with Them Crooked Vultures, his band with Josh Homme and John Paul Jones. He said the Foo Fighters "have just started writing and we’re going to start recording in September so life is full of music."

Bandmate John Paul Jones talked about laying down tracks for a new Them Crooked Vultures album "by the end of summer, something like that."

The Foo Fighters guitarist and singer told Rolling Stone that the new album will be recorded at his home. The band’s last two albums were recorded at Studio 606 in California.

Rolling Stone asked about possible neighbour reactions to the noise. The rocker replied, "We’re doing a test on Monday." He then went on to say, "I think this could be our heaviest album yet."
