For the past several months, bits and pieces of information about the Foo Fighters next album have been slowly trickling out.
After confirming the completion of the album, the final title, and the first secret concert featuring a live performance of the entire album, the award-winning group has finally dangled their first single, Rope, to give global fans a taste of the first single from their new album Wasting Light.
The album is the first studio effort since the Foo Fighters 2007’s Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace, and the most recent since a Greatest Hits compilation released in 2009.
The new album hits the stores on April 12 and marks the first collaboration between Dave Grohl and producer Butch Vig. Grohl was the drummer for Nirvana when Vig produced the now famous Nevermind.
