New Frank Sinatra album highlights Vegas years

Compilation of best songs from live recordings of crooner’s performances in gambling capital.

Like Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra also experienced great success when he performed in Las Vegas. Whether he played the Sands, Caesars Palace or the Golden Nugget, the crooner par excellence always attracted crowds.

From the performances he gave in Las Vegas between 1961 and 1987, Frank Sinatra Enterprises, the family business that oversees his musical legacy, has decided to compile 15 of his greatest songs recorded live on a single CD.

Frank Sinatra: Best of Vegas will include classics like The Lady is a Tramp, Pennies from Heaven, I’ve Got You Under My Skin and Fly Me to the Moon, not to mention the memorable anthem to the Big Apple, New York, New York, among others.

The disc will hit stores on February 15.
