The New York Post reports that Madonna is a big horse lover. She just spent around $2 million US to buy some land in New York where she can enjoy her pastime, horseback riding.
The singer began riding when she married British filmmaker Guy Ritchie in 2000. She had lots of room to do in at their home in Wiltshire in England.
When the marriage went south in 2008, the Material Girl returned to New York and bought Wild Ocean Farm in Bridgehampton for $5 million US. She just bought 23 additional acres which doubles the size of that estate.
Madonna only owns the agricultural rights and so cannot build on the land. But she now has a lot more space to go riding.
It was announced this week that Madonna’s boyfriend, Brazilian model Jesus Luz, signed a deal with Warner Bros. to release two singles.
