German fashion house Hugo Boss is launching a new fragrance, Boss In Motion Made For Summer, especially tailored to the warmer months, reports Basenotes.
The limited edition fragrance for men is part of the company’s popular Boss Orange collection. While taking inspiration from the main line, the fresh scent differs from the warmer Boss in Motion Original (2002) and the lighter Boss in Motion White Edition (2009).
"Made for Summer is a fresh fragrance, capturing the power, energy and passion of summer whilst inspiring the wearer to share this vibrancy with all those around him," according to a company statement. "The fragrance activates the feeling of anticipation of a good time out with friends."
Will Andrews, of the fragrance design team, describes the scent as "a symbol of renewal and freedom, but created for today’s contemporary consumer."
The summery scent includes top notes of mint, passion fruit and amber, which keep the fragrance’s opening cool and fresh. Sharp heart notes of geranium flower are then laid over base notes of vetiver grass – "the aromatic evocation of summer," said Andrews.
Available in a 90 mL eau de toilette, the limited edition comes in a playful, round orange bottle.
