New Jimmy Choo fragrance

Upscale designer to launch limited edition fragrance.

The upscale Jimmy Choo shoe brand will launch a new limited edition fragrance available only for Christmas 2011, reports Female First.

The new fragrance is described as sensual and irresistible, aimed at sophisticated, professional women, and of course fans of his popular footwear.

“I want women to feel strong, empowered, beautiful, seductive, and alluring with a hidden and mysterious sense of confident sexuality,” said Tamara Mellon, chief creative officer for Jimmy Choo.

Jimmy Choo Limited Edition Parfum was created by designed by famous perfumer Olivier Polge, and is described by as “a sumptuous remastering of the original for women who desire a more intense signature fragrance.”

Notes include tiger orchid, candied orange and ‘toffee chypre’ which has lingering notes of exotic sandalwood and patchouli.

The bottle design for the fragrance stays true to the spirit of Jimmy Choo, but is also influenced by Mellon’s personal taste for antique and modern objects.

Mellon described the updated design as, “A beautiful and precious bottle that is an object of desire which women will want to keep forever.”

Jimmy Choo Limited Edition Parfum 40ml limitededition will be available for around $160 in the UK from October 2011.
