For the past seven weeks, as part of his “GOOD Friday” program, rapper Kanye West has been releasing one song on the Web every Friday. This week, he was planning to release the eighth song, Lost in the World, tomorrow, but was furious to discover it had already been leaked online today (September 30).
In an outburst of anger, the controversial artist announced on Twitter that there will be no offering this Friday, and that he is seriously considering whether he will continue his Friday song release campaign.
West is all the more disappointed about the leak because he believes the song was not fully completed and up to his usual musical standards, and was also very upset that the song was being offered for free.
The song Lost in the World is a collaboration with Bon Iver and Gil Scott-Heron, and was leaked on a blog this week.
Kanye West will be the musical guest for the television show, Saturday Night Live, this Saturday, October 2.
