Manuela Gomez Ruiz’s children, are suing the singer, and a hospital. They claim that their seriously ill mother was moved out of her hospital bed, to make room for Michael Jackson, who had stomach pains. This was during the time Jackson was on trial for sexual molestation of a minor. This happened on February 15, 2005, at the Marian Medical Center, in Santa Maria, California.
Manuela Gomez Ruiz, 74, died the same night she was moved.
Hospital authorities are arguing that Ms. Gomez Ruiz received all of the necessary services.
