Arcade Fire officially releases The Suburbs.

Anticipation has been building for months. Now the day has finally arrived when Arcade Fire releases its newest album, The Suburbs. Canada’s indie kings have been releasing tidbits of songs and playing shows here and there. Now the fun begins in earnest as everyone can get their hands on this long-awaited follow-up to Neon Bible.

Lady Gaga may not be releasing her next studio album until 2011 but she does throw her little monsters a bone today. The eccentric star releases The Remix. Fans will find all their favourites here from Just Dance and Poker Face to Paparazzi and Telephone.

The Black Crowes offer Croweology, a two-CD acoustic album. Its release coincides with the 20th anniversary of the band’s 1990 debut album. There are over 20 songs, personal and fan favourites, from the Crowes’ 20-year run.

Grammy Award-winning band Los Lobos also has a new album out today. Amazon.ca describes Tin Can Trust: "Their first collection of new original material in four years. Featuring powerful rock ‘n’ roll, blistering blues, two Spanish-language tracks, and even a Grateful Dead cover, the album is classic Lobos through and through."
