Rapper DJ Khaled releases We the Best Forever.

American record producer DJ Khaled takes his turn at the mic in his newest album, We the Best Forever. The rapper’s fifth studio album, Forever is the first to be released on a major record label instead of indie Koch Records.

The album’s first single, Welcome to My Hood, features Rick Ross, Plies, Lil Wayne and T-Pain and peaked at 79 on the Billboard Hot 100. His second official single, I’m On One – featuring Drake, Rick Ross and Lil Wayne – performed significantly better, climbing to tenth place – his highest peaking song to date.

American rock band 3 Doors Down release their fifth studio album, Time of My Life, today as well. A follow up to 2008’s self-titled album, Time of My Life features 12 tracks plus four bonus tracks on the deluxe edition.

Also out this week: prolific comedy rockers They Might Be Giants return to the world of adult music – the band has also released two children’s albums – with their 15th studio album, Join Us; rapper Theophilus London releases his debut studio album Timez Are Weird These Days; and reggae-rockers 311 release their tenth studio album, Universal Pulse.
