Oasis legacy Beady Eye launches their debut album.

Today, Beady Eye, a band formed from the ashes of Oasis  after lead guitarist Noel Gallagher quit the band 18 months ago, releases their debut album, Different Gear, Still Speeding. The album’s first official single, The Roller, was released last month and peaked at number 31 on the U.K. Singles chart. The album contains 13 tracks in total, with two bonus tracks available through iTunes.

Swedish singer Lykke Li today releases her sophomore album, Wounded Rhymes, a follow up to 2008’s Youth Novels. The album contains ten tracks, including the first official single Get Some. The North American iTunes deluxe edition comes with three additional tracks, plus one bonus track, The Only, which was exclusively available with the pre-order.

On this side of the pond, American folk-rock singer Lucinda Williams has launched her 11th studio album, Blessed, the first new album from the 58-year-old singer-songwriter since 2008’s Little Honey.

For fans seeking something a little harder, Celtic punk band, Dropkick Murphys, release their seventh studio album, Going Out in Style. The band has dedicated their first official single, Take ‘Em Down, to union workers in Wisconsin protesting against the budget plan of Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker.
