Lady Gaga’s long-awaited new album finally hits shelves.

In a release so popular it succeeded in crashing Amazon’s servers, pop star Lady Gaga finally launches her new album, Born This Way, today. The hit-maker is so successful at generating buzz, it is hard to believe this is only her second studio album, a follow-up to 2008’s The Fame, which was spun off into an EP album, The Fame Monster, in 2009.

The long-awaited new album is available in both standard and special editions. The standard 14-track album comes with three bonus tracks, while the special edition is available in a two-disc set with a total of 25 tracks.

NKOTBSB – the super-group formed by the members of New Kids on the Block and The Backstreet Boys – release their self-titled compilation album today. The recording features five tracks from each group, as well as two joint recordings – All In My Head and Don’t Turn Out The Lights – and a medley remix mashup of some of their biggest hits.

Also out today, popular television show Glee issues another soundtrack album, Glee: The Music, Volume 6, which includes their own take on Gaga’s single Born This Way. Rock legends Aerosmith launch a new greatest hits album, Tough Love: Best of the Ballads. Musical duo She Wants Revenge release their third studio album, Valleyheart, and Paia, the second album from British dance-punk band Friendly Fires, makes its North American debut.
