Nina Ricci launched its line of Nina perfumes in 2006. It will add a new scent to the group in the month of August.
This fragrance will be called Nina l’Elixir and is described as cool and bubbly. The face of the new fragrance is young British pop singer Florrie.
Last year, Nina Ricci launched its Ricci Ricci fragrance which has proven to be very popular with women.
The brand called on Olivier Cresp, a master perfumer with Firmenich, to work his magic to create Nina L’Elixir. It was Cresp who created the first Nina perfume in 2006.
This latest fragrance is composed of notes of jasmine, red fruit, green Caipirinha citron and cotton musk. Cotton musk refers to a synthetic musk mix which exudes a billowy soft ambience, less strident than the usual white musk inclusion.
The perfume comes in a bottle shaped like a red apple.
For the ad campaign for the fragrance, the house decided to create a music video starring Florrie Arnold performing the Blondie hit Sunday Girl.
