Fans who pre-ordered the new Radiohead album The King of Limbs and counting down the hours until the Saturday morning (February 19), were pleasantly surprised to receive an e-mail telling them they can get their hands on a download this morning (February 18).
The group decided to accelerate the release of their eighth album, and have also released a YouTube video of their first song, Lotus Flower. The eight songs on the tracklist comprise the relatively short 37-minute album.
The band posted a cryptic Twitter message in Japanese earlier this week, which appears to be an announcement for the premiere of the Lotus Flower video on a big screen at Hachiko Square. You can check out the video here.
The CD release date has also been moved up, with the album available in stores on March 28, instead of May 9.
