New Scott Weiland Solo Album

Scott Weiland is preparing his second solo album.

The Stone Temple Pilots singer recorded his second album with producer Steve Albini, and would like to launch the album in November, reported Billboard.com.

The former Velver Revolver vocalist spoke about this project last week on the Howard Stern Show.  No Doubt’s drummer, Adrian Young, also revealed that he participated in the project.  According to Weiland’s rep, the untitled album will be launched under Weiland’s label, Soft Drive.

Weiland did not reveal if the single Happy, recorded with Pharrell Williams will be on this album. The singer’s first solo album, 12 Bar Blues, was launched in 1998.
