New single coming from Kings of Leon

Back Down South an ode to Tennessee roots.

American rock band Kings Of Leon are still riding high on the success of their fifth album, Come Around Sundown, and plan to release a new single about their Tennessee roots called Back Down South on June 27, reports Clash Music.

Just married May 12, Caleb Followill will have to leave his new bride, American model Lily Aldridge, behind as the band starts out on its biggest tour ever this year, through Europe and the U.S., with dates planned right up to November 19 in Australia.

Followill and his band will begin in Ireland on May 28 at Slane Castle. The American group will share the evening with other bands, all of British origin, such as Elbow, White Lies and Thin Lizzy. Then they will tour through Britain including Coventry, London, and the Isle of Wight Festival.

This is only the beginning of a busy year for Kings of Leon. The band will make a two-day stop at Hyde Park in London, with the U.K. leg of the tour ending in Edinburgh on June 26. From there, according to their website, the band will travel to Sweden, Belgium, and Denmark, before returning to the States for a series of North American dates running from July 26 in Orange Beach, Alabama, through to October 15 in Ottawa, Ontario.

From October 26 to November 19, the band will play a couple of dates in South Africa, and seven more in Australia before calling it a day.
