Coinciding with her debut as the new celebrity judge on American Idol, Jennifer Lopez has officially launched a new single, On the Floor, reports MTV.
The single, which features rapper Pitbull, officially premiered early yesterday morning (January 18) during Ryan Seacrest’s Kiis FM radio show – although the demo cut of the song was leaked online on Friday (January 14).
JLo’s new techno-style dance song samples the ’89 chart-topper Lambada from French pop group Kaoma.
Lopez is expected to put in an appearance on Seacrest’s radio show today. "Fun talking to you on the carpet last night … look forward to catching up Wednesday morning on air!!!" she posted to him on her Twitter feed.
For her new single, Lopez partnered with producer/songwriter RedOne, who has been responsible for some of Lady Gaga’s biggest hits, including Just Dance and Bad Romance.
Additionally, another new hit from Lopez has been leaked online, at least partially. A minute and a half of her video for Good Hit has surfaced on YouTube.
