New Soundgarden Compilation Album

Grunge veterans Soundgarden will be releasing a compilation of B sides and maybe even a box set.

Ex-frontman for Soundgarden, Chris Cornell, told RollingStone.com that the group is planning to release a compilation of B side tunes and possibly even a box set of unreleased material.

The B sides have already been released outside the United States to encourage fans to buy local versions rather than imported ones. However, the group hasn’t been keen on this approach, and now wants everyone to have access to these songs.

Cornell said that members of the group have been talking about the project for the past ten years, but they feel that now is the time to make it happen.

Cornell is denying rumours of a Soundgarden tour for next year. Currently, the group is not working on new material, but things could change in the future.
