New tour in sight for Fleetwood Mac?

Stevie Nicks hints at 2012 Fleetwod Mac tour.

The famous British-American group originally formed in 1967 and launched the album Rumours in 1977, which went on to become one of the bestselling albums of all times, selling more than 25 million copies.

In 2009, the group finished its Greatest Hits tour in Toronto, and they’ve kept busy with solo projects. Legendary frontwoman Stevie Nicks recently sat down for an interview with blogger Perez Hilton, to speak about her recent solo album In Your Dreams, and talk about what her bandmates are up to.

In the interview, Nicks hinted that once colleague Lindsay Buckingham’s solo album launches in the fall, the group will be free to tour next year, and maybe even release a new album.

“So by the time, you know when this album and Lindsey’s album come to a stop then Fleetwood Mac will gather again and we’ll either make another record or we won’t and we’ll just go on tour,” said Nicks.

When asked about current music, Nicks mentioned that her favorite song these days was E.T. by Katy Perry.
