New voices cast for Ice Age 4

Voices of Jennifer Lopez and Jeremy Renner added to animated film franchise.

The blockbuster animated Ice Age film franchise starring Ray Romano as Manny the mammoth, John Leguizamo as Sid the sloth, Denis Leary as Diego the sabre-toothed cat, and Chris Wedge as the scene-stealing squirrel Scrat, will be adding new voices to the mix.

Jeremy Renner, Jennifer Lopez, Wanda Sykes, Keke Palmer, Drake and Aziz Ansari have been announced as new voices along with returning stars Queen Latifah, Seann William Scott, and Josh Peck for Ice Age: Continental Drift, the fourth installment of the popular franchise ice age .

Renner (The Hurt Locker, The Town) will play Gutt, a master of the high seas, and Lopez (Shall We Dance?, The Back-up Plan) will play Shira, a tigress who melts the heart of Diego.

Directed by Steve Martino and Mike Thurmeier, the fourth installment will be released in 3D on July 13, 2012.

Blue Sky Studios is also behind the hugely successful film Rio, starring the voice of Johnny Depp, which has earned more than $300 million since its release April 15.
