Nick and Jessica Have No Time for Children

The two stars admit that their priority at this time is their career.

Simpson, 24, admits she is too self-centered to be able to take on the responsibility of raising children.  Nonetheless, the singer is determined to do whatever it takes to be a mother, when the time comes.

She says, "I have way too much to do right now. I want to be able to devote my entire life to my kids and, right now, I am too selfish. It would be hard."

Former 98 DEGREES singer Lachey adds, "Jessica will admit that in many ways she is still a kid herself. And she is, in terms of the way she was raised. She had a naive childhood. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but she’s still discovering things about the world and herself. I think we still have time to have children.  I am a young 31 year old man."
