Lachey filed his demands last Friday in court. He would like his ex-wife, singer Jessica Simpson to pay him a sum in exchange for his agreement to the divorce, filed by Simpson in December.
The couple did not sign a pre-nuptial agreement. The 32 year old Lachey is also asking to keep certain personal objects and jewelry.
Lachey is the former singer of the group 98 Degrees, and was married to Jessica Simpson for three years.
Simpson, 25, made more than 30 million last year between her album, and her first movie The Dukes of Hazzard.
