Nickelback chooses Quebec City

The Canadian rock band Nickelback who just announced their North American tour Get Rollin’ has chosen Quebec City to prepare for the tour, which will begin in June.

Quebec City, known as a rock city, will host the band from British Columbia to polish up their final chords before touring America all summer long. The quartet will be at the Centre Vidéotron for the duration of their rehearsals, in the weeks leading up to the tour’s inaugural concert.

Nickelback will be kicking off their tour on June 12 in the old capital ‘s amphitheatre. This concert will mark the return of the rockers to Quebec City for the first time in 16 years.

On June 14th,Nickelback will be at the Bell Center. These are the only two concerts scheduled in Quebec for the moment.

This is not the first time that the Centre Vidéotron will host rehearsals for a tour of this magnitude. In 2019, the amphitheatre hosted singer Céline Dion during her world tour Courage.

The British singer Paul McCartney, in 2018 and the mythical band Pearl Jam during its last visit to Quebec City, in 2022, have also used the facilities for their rehearsals.
