The band Nickelback has signed a contract with Live Nation to produce three albums and three promotional tours, reports RollingStone.com.
Live Nation is already working with several other artists, including Madonna, Jay-Z and Shakira.
Nickelback’s contract was estimated to be worth between $50 and $70 million US.
In addition to albums and tours, Live Nation will also handle the albums’ distribution, the band’s Web site, sponsors, fan clubs, DVDs and other merchandise.
Nickelback’s last album, All the Right Reasons, has sold more than 10 million copies worldwide. Their last tour of North America and Australia earned the band more than $67 million US.
