The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Cage has hooked a role in the thriller The Hungry Rabbit Jumps, directed by Roger Donaldson (The Bank Job).
The screenplay by Robert Tannen follows a man whose wife was the victim of a violent crime. The man will join a secret organization focused on avenging the brutal murder of victims, but will find himself overwhelmed by events.
Filming for The Hungry Rabbit Jumps will begin in January in New Orleans.
Cage is currently filming The Green Hornet with Seth Rogen. After filming The Hungry Rabbit Jumps, the actor will head to the set of Drive Angry in April.
In the meantime, he will star in Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans. The film will be presented at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 15. Next year, we can see the star in the upcoming productions Season of the Witch, opening March 19, and The Sorcerer’s Apprentice on July 16.
