The magazine Ladies Home Journal interviewed the actress, who stated that she will always love the Mission: Impossible star.
The couple ended their ten year marriage in 2000. Cruise is planning to wed again, this time to actress Katie Holmes, who has just given birth to Cruise’s daughter, Suri. Kidman, 38, still has an enormous amount of affection for the man she met many years ago.
Kidman said in the interview, "He was huge; still is. To me, he was just Tom, this lovely man, but to everybody else, he is huge. But he was lovely to me. And I loved him. I still love him."
Although she is happy to share her feelings of admiration, she does not want to talk about their separation. She admits that there were problems in the marriage, but she was shocked when Cruise began divorce proceedings.
