In a survey conducted by Hello magazine, readers chose Kidman as the stylish star at the recent Oscar Awards ceremony.
The australian actress earned 32% of the 8,000 votes cast, putting her at the top of the list of red-carpeters. In second place was Penelope Cruz with 28% of the votes.
Actress Cate Blanchett, who was nominated for best supporting actress for her role in the film Notes on a Scandal, took the third spot in the poll.
The top five was completed by Reese Witherspoon and Helen Mirren.
