According to the Daily Sport, the Cold Mountain star and her boyfriend have agreed to avoid intimate moments until they are married. The ceremony should take place in a few weeks.
A source said, "Going four weeks without sex will certainly increase the passion on their wedding night."
Kidman’s friend, actor Russell Crowe, gave her the idea to ban sex. The Gladiator star himself went without sex for months before his wedding to Danielle Spencer in 2003.
The marriage between Kidman, 38, and country singer Urban will take place in Sydney on June 25. Rumours had been circulating that Bette Midler would sing at the ceremony, however Midler denies those rumours.
