The star of The Simple Life insists that the stories of her continued problems are true. Recently, Star magazine reported that Richie had entered the Beaumonde treatment centre in Los Angeles.
Richie has already gone through a treatment program for an eating disorder, but now claims that her problems are behind her. She adds that she has been busy with her boyfriend, rocker Joel Madden. According to FemaleFirst, Richie said, "I hadn’t been photographed in a few weeks… It’s really pathetic. Because I wasn’t photographed, people were wondering where I was and then there was a story that I was in rehab. The truth was I was on tour with Joel and I was in random city after random city."
Richie added, "I actually thought it was really funny how people were talking about it… Do I have a responsibility to get photographed every single day or else people wonder where I am? That’s ridiculous."
