According to Etonline, Richie and actor Adam Rodriguez are not in love, but rather working together for the new video for Lionel Richie’s song I Call It Love.
Lionel Richie, Nicole’s father, hired Nicole and Rodriguez to play lovers from opposite sides of the tracks for the video. Richie, who stars in television’s Simple Life, and Rodriguez filmed hot scenes as on-screen lovers.
The 57 year-old singer felt that his adopted daughter was the ideal candidate for the video. Nicole Richie, 24, has also appeared in the videos for her father’s songs Love, Oh Love, and Ballerina Girl.
Lionel Richie’s new CD, Coming Home, will be in stores on September 12.
