Although Richie left the hospital and returned to her home, she still needs to take it easy, reports People.
The 28-year-old star wrote on her blog, "Right now it’s important for me to stay in bed and recover."
Richie added that she’s been reading all the messages from her fans on Twitter and on her Website that have lifted her spirits. She revealed that she is extremely appreciative of their support and wrote, "I look forward to seeing you all very soon and wish you a happy Thanksgiving."
The star apologized for having to cancel several promotional appearances, saying that she was very disappointed for not being well enough to meet with her business partners and fans.
On November 10, her illness forced her to cancel her participation in the House of Harlow 1960 jewellery launch, featuring her new jewellery collection at a Los Angeles boutique.
Richie gave birth to her second child with Joel Madden, Sparrow, in September. The couple also have a little girl, Harlow, 21 months.
