The statement puts an end to rumours that began yesterday (February 13), when Chelsea Handler made a comment on E!. Handler, who is friends with Carrey, said, "And by the way, Jim, Jenny wanted me to tell you — she’s pregnant." According to McCarthy’s rep, Handler’s comment was simply a joke.
Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey have been dating since June of 2006. Carrey is the father of a 19-year-old daughter named Jane from his relationship with Melissa Womer. McCarthy has a five-year-old son, Evan.
