War of the Worlds will be on its own on its release date July 4. This film was directed by Steven Spielberg, and is starring Tom Cruise and Dakota Fanning. It will be in theatres July 29, which will give it 6 opening days, including July 4 weekend.
Fantastic Four, will be opening against Sony Pictures film Bewitched, starring Nicole Kidman and Will Ferell.
