According to IOL, the Detroit police decided not to press charges against Eminem. On September 24, there was an altercation between the singer and his estranged wife’s niece.
Singer of the song Stan, allegedly hit the 13-year-old because she hung up on him. Police Officer, Mark Hackel, explained "There was no indication she hurt in any way." He claimed that Eminem wanted to get his niece’s attention.
According to the police report, the singer went to the Mathers residence after a dispute with the teen that he has custody. The girl claimed that Eminem threatened to kill her after hitting her on the head.
Eminem denied the threats, and stated that he was angry about her choice of clothing. Eminem’s niece told her version to her grandmother that called the police.
